The most elusive of examiners.Mr. Dan Mangan called me today. It was great to hear from him. I was jammed up in the middle of things, and couldn't talk. He will hopefully call back. IP: Logged |

Give them my best! Has he lost his password??? WTH? A couple a jokers give some flack and a 1st rate member/ poster disappears? He should return considering the public flogging we have recieved during his respite. E

I ran into Dan at the last CAPE seminar. His hair does not look nearly as good as his photo on this site.(Although he is a very handsome man) He said he will be back and start posting here again. Like all of us, he has been very busy.Dan, if you read this post, I will donate $100.00 to your favorite charity if you shave your head and post the photo! Perhaps you could up the $$$$ by talking to Ray and Stat?? It was sure nice to meet you in person Dan! Ted

Notice Ted's challenge involves that Dan shave his head----a clear move that shows both Ted's jealousy and contempt for the Manganian Loaves----thick luxurious sections of perfectly combed hair. Ted, you show your true colors here man. We can't all have anchor man hair chief.IP: Logged |

Unlike, Georgie, Mangan does have a sense of humor. He sent me an email yesterday, titled "got sharpies?" r ------------------ "Gentlemen, you can't fight in here. This is the war room." --(Stanley Kubrick/Peter Sellers - Dr. Strangelove, 1964) IP: Logged |

A contact.I spoke with Dan over the telephone. He's a smart guy, and more resilient than we were suspecting. I did try to apologize for hurting his feelings with all our hassling and photoshoping and sharpie-ing. He's been busy doing important work. That's good. Like many of us, it sounds like he's up against the narrow minds and simplistic expectations at times. I hope to see him back here some day. ------------------ "Gentlemen, you can't fight in here.
